The Quaker Centre café and bookshop are now open Monday to Friday, 10am–3pm. The bookshop also welcomes online customers (offsite link). The restaurant and Library remain closed until further notice.
Many staff are working from home and best contactable by their usual email.
In Cumbria, Swarthmoor Hall cottages are available for hire on www.cottages.com though the hall remains closed.

Friends House is the central offices of Quakers in Britain and is located at 173 Euston Road, London, NW1 2BJ. It is directly opposite Euston Station and is easily accessible by most forms of transport.
We would like Friends House to be accessible and welcoming to all. The building was constructed in 1926 and its Grade II listing means that there are certain access limitations. The main entrance via the garden is step-free and accessible to all and we are doing all we can to improve accessibility across the building. Find out more about

Euston Station is just across the road. King's Cross and St Pancras stations are a ten-minute walk away.
The nearest tube stations are Euston and Euston Square, which are on the Northern, Victoria, Metropolitan, Circle and Hammersmith & City lines.
Buses 10, 18, 30, 73 and 205 pass the door whilst 59, 68, 91, 168, 253 and 476 stop nearby.
Friends House is within a meter parking zone. Charges must be paid Monday to Friday 8.30am–6.30pm, Saturday 9.00am–4.30pm. There are alternative, longer-term parking facilities under Euston Station. Please note that Friends House is inside the congestion charge zone. Please go to
